Uniform
It is the policy that all ADS students wear the uniform, in its entirety, each day
unless special permission is given to not wear it. The uniform brand is French
Toast it can be found online at www.frenchtoast.com or at such stores as Sears
and Target .
All hijabs worn by students must be white. No patterned hijabs or transparent
hijabs are permitted.
KG - 8th boys: Light blue polo shirt, or light blue dress shirt, navy twill or dress
pants.
KG - 4th girls: Jumpers, accompanied by loose fitting navy tights. No bare legs
under jumpers are permitted. Girls in grades 3rd and up must wear long
sleeves at all times.
5th - 8th girls: Girls must wear a black abaya. No button up abayas aloud.
Outerwear for all students: Solid Navy sweaters, cardigans, light jackets, or
vests.
Shoes for all students: Rubber soled shoes. No heels or sandals are
permitted.

ADS has facilities for teaching average and above average children who do
not have any special learning, speech, physical or behavior problems.
ADS does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, creed, color, national origin
or religion for purposes of determining eligibility for admission.
The principal is responsible for grade placement of students, after consulting
with appropriate staff personnel for their recommendations. Final placement for
transfer students will be based upon the student's previous school records and
transcripts, in addition to results of a placement test. Students showing special
learning, behavior or study habit problems will not be able to continue at ADS.
Completion of the admission procedure will require the following:
1. Completed application forms.
2. Immunization and Medical Records.
3. Signed parental contract.
4. Transcripts for transfer students.
5. An interview may be required.
A child entering the Kindergarten program of ADS must be five years old on or
before August 1st, 2011 for the 11-12 school years.
If space is available, an applicant will be enrolled only after the following:
1. The first tuition payment and book fees have been received.
2. Medical records and school transcript have been received.
If no space is available, an applicant will be placed on the waiting list and
contacted when an opening is available.

| Girls abayas must NOT have an open front. No button up or side closer abayas allowed. Abayas must be black with out embroidery, rhinestones or any kind of decoration. |
| Girls may wear any of the two types of hijab's pictured here. If wearing a 2 piece hijab the student MUST have the under piece on. If wearing a standard scarf or wrap around scarf students must make sure that their hair is not visible by wearing a under piece. |
