Week of March 28th - April 1st

Classroom News
Please remember that students should not arrive to school before 7:45.  Please
remind your child to put their name and number on every paper. I have been
getting a lot of papers lately with no names on them.  I hope everyone had a
wonderful spring break.  Happy Spring!!  SAT testing will be April 18th-21st.  We
will begin reviewing this week.  If you have any questions or concerns please

We will be reviewing everything we have learned up to this point in preparation
for SAT testing.

Language Arts
Our read aloud this week is called, “Yikes, Bikes”.  We will also be reviewing in
preparation for SAT testing.

Spelling
This week in spellings we will be reviewing words from our past.  Our spelling test
will be on Friday.  For the second half of the school year I will be adding two
dictation sentences to each test.  Students must spell and use correct ending
marks to receive full credit.

Science/Social Studies
In science we will learn about weather and measuring.  In social studies we will
be learning about different cultures and people.

Odds and Ends
        Please remember the importance of attendance.
